The World Bank Group has appointed a Zimbabwean national ,Mary-Jean Moyo, as the new International Finance Corporation (IFC) Division Director for Tanzania, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Moyo, assumed the position on September 1, 2026. Before her appointment, Moyo served as Chief of Staff to the IFC Managing Director.
